Our step by step process
Every job follows the same six stages. Some are quicker, some are slower — but the order and what to expect at each point is fixed, so you're never wondering what's happening.

Planning check
Most garden rooms fall under permitted development. We confirm this for your specific site and flag any conservation-area or listed-building complications up front.
- 02
Design and quote
Size, position on the plot, intended use, services needed. Fixed-price quote.
- 03
Foundations
Ground screws or concrete pad, depending on ground conditions. Usually a single day.
- 04
Frame and roof
Timber frame raised, roof fitted, windows and doors installed. Most rooms take 1–2 weeks on site.
- 05
Insulation and cladding
Insulation fitted to target U-values (roof below 0.20, walls below 0.25, floor below 0.22). External cladding applied.
- 06
Interior finish
Lining board, flooring, electrics (first-fix and final). Snagging and sign-off.
