What this site collects
1. Contact form submissions
When you fill in the contact form on this site, you give us your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, the postcode or area you're in, and your message. We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and, if appropriate, to follow up about a quote or site visit.
Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms, the form backend this site is hosted on. The data is stored on Netlify's servers and delivered to our email inbox. We keep form submissions for as long as we have an active working relationship with you (typically the duration of the job, plus a reasonable period for warranty and follow-up work). After that we delete them. If you'd like your information removed sooner, just ask.
2. Server logs
Every request to this site is logged by our hosting provider (Netlify). These logs include your IP address, the page requested, and the time of the request. They are kept for a short period for security and debugging, then deleted. We don't use them to identify you, build a profile of you, or share them with anyone.
3. Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies, set only after you give consent. No analytics or tracking cookies are set before you click "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner.
If you accept analytics, this site loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets cookies to measure how visitors use the site — which pages are most useful, which search terms brought you here, and so on. GA4 does not record any personal information that would let us identify you as an individual. The data is anonymised where possible and retained for 14 months.
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site — the cookie banner will show again on your next visit and you can choose "Reject analytics". You can also install theGoogle Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
For full details on what data Google collects and how it's processed, seeGoogle's partner-sites policy.
4. Embedded content
This site does not embed any third-party widgets, social-media plugins, maps, videos, fonts, or trackers beyond the analytics described above. All fonts are self-hosted; no third-party font requests are made.
Your rights
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you (a "subject access request")
- Ask us to correct any data that's wrong

- Object to our processing of your data
- Ask us to restrict how we process your data
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where our processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us atinfo@tmcarpentryservices.co.ukor by phone on 07881 811771. We will respond within one calendar month.

Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through the contact form, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that collects different data. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page; we don't notify past visitors individually.
